App Implementation

Step 1 - Initial info#

To start the build of the App, we need to collect initial info from merchants:#

  • Merchant ID (provided by OPS)

  • App Name (Up to 30 symbols, while we recommend 11-15 characters for phone view (in the menu) and up to 19 for AppStore view).

  • The version. Is it:

    • iOS, or
    • Android, or
    • iOS and Android
  • App Icon

    • Recommended size:

      • 1024x1024px for Apple Store

      • 512x512px for Google Play

  • Splash screen image

    • Recommended size is 1500x1500px.

It is advisable to have the logo and a greeting text on a one-color background.

  • Homepage carousel assets

    • Size - 1536x2048 px.

The carousel is the second thing that the customers see as soon as they open the App. It allows merchants to interact with the customers: greeting them or promoting menu items.

Please, locate the main content in the center of the image; due to multiple screen sizes, the image is cut sometimes.

The images in the carousel are on autoplay. You can provide up to 5 images.

Step 2 - Customization by our team#

Your assigned Account Manager will work on the customization of the App, adding images, styling it, etc.

Step 3 - Testing on Testflight#

Your Account Manager will send you the link to your demo App for testing on Testflight (for iOS only).

After your feedback, we are getting closer to release!

Step 4 - AppStore and Google Play release#

This is the last step! We need more info from you to release the App on AppStore and Google Play.

1. Promotional Text - lets you inform your App Store visitors of any current app features without requiring an updated submission. The text appears above your description on the App Store for customers with devices running iOS 11 or later, and macOS 10.13 or later.

The text shall be a maximum of 170 characters for AppStore and 80 characters for Google Play.

2. Keywords - add one or more keywords that describe your App. Keywords make search results more accurate. Separate them with an English comma, Chinese comma, or a mix of both.

3. Support URL - an URL with support information for your App. This URL will is on the App Store.

4. Marketing URL (not mandatory) - a URL with marketing information about your App, e.g., your main website, about us section. The URL is visible on the App Store.

5. Description - a detailed description of your App, includes features and functionality. It will also be used for your Apple Watch app. The text shall be a maximum of 4000 characters.

6. Copyright The name of the person or entity that owns the App's exclusive rights, preceded by the year the rights were obtained.

7. Contact Information

The person from your team who can be contacted if the App Review team has any questions or needs additional information (first and last name, phone number, and email address)

8. Private poliсy page URL If you don't have any, we can use ours.

9. Category for the AppStore, choose between:

  • Shopping -> Food & Drinks or
  • Food & Drinks

10. Screenshots of the App (.JPG format)

  • 1242x2688px for iPhone

  • 1242x2208px iPhone 5.5

  • min 3 images of both sizes

11. Image for the header (only for Google Play)

  • 1024x500px, up to 1 MB

  • Format: JPEG or 24-bit PNG (not transparent)

After all the info is submitted, it takes up to 4 days to release your App in AppStore and Google Play.
