What is it??#

App only feature designed to quickly identify a customer in-store

  • App users only
  • Square POS only

Note:

*The only supported devices in-store that can scan from the phone screen are - Honeywell 1950G and Zebra (Symbol) DS6707

** Make sure the scanning devices are Digital Image Scanners

*** The feature is not compatible with Square for Restaurants or Square Register and is only compatible with Square POS

How it works?#

The users will click on scan my code whenever they want to pay in store, this will generate a barcode which the customer will show to the cashier to be scanned. Once scanned, customer is identified and their current order is fully attached to their account, meaning that they will earn loyalty points on their current in-store order and they can pay with any payment method saved in their account.
