Toast POS GUID

To connect Promotions from the GoParrot side with the Toast side, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Toast account

  2. Under the Payments tab, find Discounts

  3. Add a new discount

    • Follow the chart below to set up the amount

    E.g.

    1. If in the GoParrot dashboard you created a fixed check based discount worth $10, in the Toast POS you shall also create a fixed discount for $10.
    2. If you created a fixed 5% discount on a specific category in the GoParrot dashboard and defined the max amount of $50 in the Toast POS, you will create an open % discount.

  4. Save

  5. Open the newly created Discount and copy the last symbols in the URL, that's the GUID. Paste it in the GoParrot dashboard and you are all set!
