Menu Management Troubleshooting

My category is not on the ordering page#

These are the most common reasons for a category not being visible:

  • The category is disabled. Solution - Open the Menu Management and check the Available flag
  • The category is missing connections. Solution - Find the category in Menu Management and check if it is connected to at least one menu and one item.
  • All the items belonging to the category are disabled. Solution - Open the Menu Management and check if at least one item has both Available and Orderable flags turned on.

The menu is not showing#

Most common reasons why the menu is not loading on the ordering page:

  • The menu has a schedule and is currently unavailable
  • You have connected an Item Group to itself. Solution - Remove the connection (should be fixed later)

An item is not showing#

There can be various reasons for an item to be missing. First of all you should try to search for the item in the Menu Management.

  • Check if Orderable Online and Available toggles are on.

  • Check if the connections are in place (Menu and Categories)

  • If the item is not visible in the dashboard, check for it under Archived items:
