Menu Concepts

Menu conceptsMenu concepts is a useful and important feature for restaurants that besides their basic menu, are preparing and selling food of other brands, or, they have certain themed menus (e.g seasonal, regional, vegan), that are different from the basic one. It adds the possibility to bring and show on your online store different brands/concepts that have their own menu and it will become easier for you to accept and manage orders from multiple sources on a central platform.
The idea of menu concepts is also becoming more popular with the present development of cloud kitchens (ghost kitchens), meaning multiple brands running from a single kitchen.
When menu concepts are set in the Dashboard and are enabled, they should be shown in the Online Store.
The guests will be able to all these menus and will have the possibility to add any item from different concepts to the same cart.
Users will be able to see the items they ordered divided by brands in their shopping cart.

Adding new menusOn GoParrot Dashboard go to Menu Management tab and click on the top of the page Menu Concepts, then click Add. On this page you will be able to see the complete list of your menu concepts.
In the new window fill in the following information:
- Enter the Title of Menu Concept.
- Describe your Menu Concept.
- Toggle the status: Enabled or Disabled.
- Show the order in which the Menu Concept will be displayed on your store, by entering a number. On your online store by default should be selected the first menu concept (which has the lowest order number).
- Upload the logo of the new menu concept. Recommended size: 900x900 px.
- Upload an optional background/ description image. Recommended size: 900x900 px.
On the top right corner click Save or go back to Menu Concepts List.

Menu ConnectionsFor each Menu Concept you have the possibility to choose various menu categories based on the settings and availability of items, as well as based on schedule (e.g. Breakfast Menu will only be available in the morning).
The customers will be able to see what kind of menus and items are available at the moment they place the order (e.g Beverages, Business Lunch, etc).
Press Add Connection Button and set connections with various categories that belong to the Menus (ItemSets) attached to this Menu Concept and the list of items from these categories.
